She Laughed Loud

A very distinguished young girl, very learned of the world

I was trying to impress as I spilled coffee all over her dress

She laughed loud, she laughed loud, she laughed loud

And what did she say?

She smiled and calmly said "I've never experienced, only read."

I said "I'm sorry about that" as I pulled up a chair and sat on her hat

She laughed loud, she laughed loud, she laughed loud

Invited me to dinner I was a half an hour late

Had a wonderful meal and I hardly ate

Then washed the dishes and I broke every plate

Couldn't understand it when I asked her for a date

She laughed loud, she laughed loud, she laughed loud

And when it was time to leave she violently tugged at my sleeve

And whispered soft in my ear something that I didn't want to hear

She laughed loud, she laughed loud, she laughed loud

I want to see her again I said with sweaty palms and her face turned red

"Why are you so nervous of me?" she asked, with her reply I nearly collapsed

She laughed loud, she laughed loud, she laughed loud
